North American Knowledge Center (Waltham) R&I Services Assistant
Overview:
As an R&I Services Assistant you will perform a broad range of administrative and support tasks for the North American Knowledge Center (NAKC). You work closely with the Content & Technology Team Leader and other NAKC colleagues to ensure that the infrastructure and knowledge needs of the Center are being met in an efficient and cost effective manner. Specific responsibilities are outlined below, followed by a description of the knowledge and skills required of individuals who wish to be considered for this position.
Detailed Description:

Acquire information and research materials (e.g., books, market research reports, industry publications, annual reports) on behalf of the unit and client teams

Provide general support for the Content & Technology Team Leader

Organize, catalog and maintain the physical and electronic collection of reference materials (e.g., books, serials, CD-ROM databases) and other files

Support NAKC knowledge management activities (e.g., help with current awareness dissemination, database input, or content charge backs)

Liaise with vendors, set up and manage accounts

Provide ad hoc assistance as required (e.g., provide administrative support during trainings or other events)

Background/Training:
An undergraduate degree from a respected institution and a record of strong academic achievement are required. Ideal candidates will have already performed such activities successfully in the McKinsey network or externally in a prestigious institution or corporation. At least one year of appropriate experience is desired.
