knowledge management facility, created in early 2002 in Waltham, Massachusetts.
The North American
Knowledge Center forms a core part of McKinsey’s global network of
600+ knowledge management (KM) professionals in 40 countries and is synonymous with
world- class knowledge services, cutting edge KM technology and challenging, rewarding
careers. KM professionals provide general research and information services to consultants in
the United States and Canada, as well as to consulting teams across the firm.
Knowledge professionals work with consulting teams to articulate, scope, and prioritize their
research needs. Collaborating with colleagues, researchers determine the most appropriate,
cost- effective, and timely research solutions to meet the team’s needs.
The broad and deep range of our NAKC team expertise combined with a wide array of
external databases enables knowledge professionals to deliver a variety of high quality end
products, from single-page exhibits, fact packs, and financial analyses/models, to synthesized
literature searches, company information, industry research reports, and document delivery.
