Private Policy to Public Problems : Personal Knowledge Management to
Organizational Learning
When a young man asked Carlyle how he should go about reforming the world, Carlyle answered, "Reform yourself. That way there will be one less rascal in the world."
How does my private use and understanding of the languages of Knowledge Management
and Public Policy help co-create the complex problems I see facing the world today? I
hope that by making this exploration process explicit that I will both deepen my
understanding of the two languages but potentially add constructive materials to the
discourse that can help us address the problems.!
