To PAL-101b:
It has been an honor and a privilige to gather with you over this semester. I ask each group below
to ask yourself what Rabbi Hillel asks all of us?
I wish to thank those of you who had the courage to send me your pieces, it reminds me
of the joy,
suffering, truth, and ambiguity of this existence we share and it awes and terrifies me. I ask only
that you find the courage to ask yourself
If I am not for myself who is for me?
I wish to thank those who had the courage not to send their pieces, it reminds me of how,
my fear,
arrogance, and pride has kept me from listening to many who I had much to learn from. I ask only
that you find the courage to ask yourself
and being for my own self what am I?
Finally, I wish to thank those who had no idea that there was a page at all, it reminds
me of how I
might be wasting even more time on this class than I already have. I ask only that you find the
courage to ask
If not now
when?
